[3.8 Points] Pine Valley Glamping 2nd Branch "Restroom" (feat. Parking Lot)
I visited Pine Valley Glamping 2nd Branch. With my legs hurting, I felt like I was turning into a part of the furniture by just lounging at home. I decided to find a nice place to enjoy some fresh air, and that's when I discovered Pine Valley Glamping in Pocheon.
As it was the harsh winter season, the camping fee was reasonably priced at around 70,000 won, and it wasn't too far from Seoul, making it a perfect spot for a day of outdoor fun. There were about ten tents gathered together, creating a charming little village-like atmosphere. Although parking wasn't available right next to the tents, the management office and parking lot were conveniently located right next to the glamping site, so it wasn't a major inconvenience. There were recreational facilities such as a swimming pool and trampoline, but they were frozen due to the winter season. They would probably be more enjoyable during the summer. The interior of the tents was cozy, and the beds in tent-like structures added an outdoor mood. Hmm, but where is the restroom? I can't see it anywhere.Where is the restroom at Pine Valley Glamping 2nd Branch?
Accessibility:
The restrooms at Pine Valley Glamping can be accessed by simply opening the folding doors inside the tents. This eliminates the need to brave the cold wind or use a public restroom outside the camping area. In terms of accessibility, this is undoubtedly a convenient feature.
Size:
In reality, it's more like a single-occupancy restroom. In urgent situations, two people could use it, with one washing up and the other using the toilet. However, for the sake of both individuals' mental well-being, it's better to use it as a single-occupancy restroom.
Atmosphere:
The white interior with wooden storage cabinets gave a clean and minimalist feel. The simple and clutter-free interior design reflected the camping values of "selectivity and focus." However, it was a bit disappointing that the restroom had a semi-transparent glass door without a lock right next to the bed. Even though we were close, it made me uneasy knowing that everything I do in the restroom could be relayed to my companions. (Although some people might prefer that.)
Cleanliness:
The white interior signifies confidence in cleanliness. Even the slightest mess would be noticeable, just like when kimchi soup stains a white t-shirt.
Good smell, clean floor, and cleanliness around the toilet. There was a bit of moisture, probably due to insufficient drying after cleaning. The sink, mirror, and toilet area were all clean. Kudos to that.
Convenience:
The necessary facilities such as shower supplies, extra toilet paper, and mirrors were provided inside. Considering that it's a tent-based facility, it was nice to see additional heating equipment installed to address the vulnerability to cold temperatures. The hot water also worked perfectly.
Bonus Points:
Despite being a tent-based facility, there were ventilation fans in the restrooms, which showed the creators' commitment to maintaining a pleasant restroom environment. I wondered if they were just decorative, but when I looked above the restroom, I noticed they were connected to tunnels. When you turn on the restroom light, the ventilation fans start spinning with a graceful sound. I'll give bonus points for the attention to detail.
< SUMMARY >
Overall, it's in good condition, and I can't help but give it a positive evaluation. However, it's important to consider that the paid facilities are included in the accommodation fee.
