[3.2 Rating] Restroom at Pine Anchovy Noodle Soup in Pocheon in Korea
I visited Pine Anchovy Noodle Soup.
There was a rumor that it's delicious, and as a fan of anchovy noodle soup, I couldn't pass it up.
When you order using the touchpad on the table, a robot serves the food shortly after. It's not the first time I've seen such a system, but seeing it at a traditional anchovy noodle soup restaurant felt fascinating.
The taste was good, but it didn't leave a great impression. It could be because I ate it when I didn't have much of an appetite. (Even though it's a famous restaurant, the owner was kind.)
Now, let's check out the restroom.
The restroom at Pine Anchovy Noodle Soup is as if it's taken straight out of a grandmother's house, with the signs of time and handprints. The tile floor gives it a homely feel, but it can look messy with even a little moisture. The first impression wasn't great, and if there's one thing that needs improvement, it's the floor.
Accessibility:
It's located between the cash register and the kitchen, and there are signs, so it's not hard to find. Audrey Hepburn greets you at the entrance.
Size:
It's a unisex restroom with individual stalls. It feels a bit small, even though the restaurant can accommodate up to 50 people when it's crowded. Of course, if you wait, you can eventually use it all.
Cleanliness:
Despite the initial impression of being messy, the overall cleanliness of the sink, toilet, and other areas was not bad. Considering that it's a place without ventilation during winter, there was no unpleasant odor either.
Convenience:
Basic facilities such as mirrors, tissue, and air freshener were provided. There was only a dispenser for hand towels, but no actual towels. In cases like this, it might be better to remove the dispenser altogether if they don't plan on providing the towels.
