[2.8 points] Naerincheon Rest Area “Toilet” in Korea
I visited the Naerincheon Service Area.
Unlike typical rest stops, it is multi-leveled and appears to have put a lot of care into its interior design. However, oddly enough, the experiences at the rest stop are not as satisfying as they appear to be.
For instance, I often found the indoor temperature to be inappropriate. Especially in winter, there is a general circulation of cold air, and the escalator area is even worse. The quality of the food is also not particularly excellent, not up to the posh ambiance suggested by the interior.
How about the restrooms? Let's take a look.
What is the state of the restrooms at Naerincheon Service Area?
Accessibility
As with all rest areas, accessibility is not bad. Naerincheon Service Area is a four-story building accessed from the first or fourth floor depending on the highway direction. Therefore, restrooms are located on the first and fourth floors.
Size
It's sufficient. However, there always seem to be areas under renovation or broken stalls each time I visit. This time was no different.
Cleanliness
It's poor. There's a smell.
Interior Design
The neat interior design using wood materials fits well with the overall atmosphere of the rest stop. The lighting of the sinks also seemed okay.
Originality
Not particularly.
